Shoe Pattern: Seed Stitch Shoes (Debbie Bliss Baby Knits for Beginners)

The shoe pattern came out of the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits for Beginners. It was a pretty quick and easy knit and was a definite hit with my Robees-wearing niece. My sister stitched a scrap piece of leather to the bottom of each one in pretty blue embroidery thread; I love the contrasting colors.





The hat is combination of the Lil' Devil Baby Hat and the Official Kitty62 Hat. They are basically the same pattern with different finishing techniques, but the Devil hat is written in children's size. I also crocheted around each ear to make them a little more substantial and to give them a little curl.
